Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
ON THIS EPISODE, I DISCUSSED WHAT BROTHAHOOD IS AND WHAT IT MEANS TO ME AS A BROTHA! BROTHAHOOD IS SO VITAL TO THE GROWTH OF OUR COMMUNITY AND THE YOUNG BROTHAS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY WHO NEED TO SEE POSITIVE EXAMPLES OF MALE RELATIONSHIPS. BROTHAHOOD DOESNT JUST CONSIST OF TWO BROTHA'S IN THE HOOD BEING HUSTLING PARTNERS, RUNNING TRAINS, ON WOMEN OR THE LOOKOUT IN TIMES OF VIOLENCE BEING COMMITTED. BROTHAHOOD IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN A BUNCH OF MAN GATHERING TOGETHER FOR MONEY, HOES, AND CLOTHES.
TAKEWAYS:
BROTHAHOOD IS A SACRED RELATIONSHIP BUILT OFF LOYALTY LOVE AND TRUST WITH THE COMMITMENT TO KEEP EACH OTHER ACCOUNTABLE TOWARDS GROWTH AS INDIVIDUALS!

Peace, peace, peace. You know, tapped in with Supreme Minded Podcast when we inform and inspire. I'm the host and creator, Supreme Minded, the self-made God, Supreme Being, Supreme Energy, Supreme Thought, Supreme Vibe, Supreme Ma, Supreme Minded Podcast. Let's build Season Two, Episode 15, titled Brotherhood. Shout out to the Universal Family, the man, woman, and child, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, sun, moon, and stars. The divine cypher, the divine trinity in real existence, in real time. World. Peace to y'all. Peace to the God bodies at Godhood University. Peace to those that are civilized minded teaching the uncivilized word. Go check out Sisterhood, which was the previous episode, season two, episode 14, featuring Queen Sahara and Rich Auntie. Shout out to them. You know what I mean? We will all feel different from from what took place. So yeah, let's build y'all about brotherhood. Before we get into it, I want to say peace to my sisters, my older sister, Janice, and my little sister Liana. I love y'all. So yeah, season two, episode 15, Brotherhood. Definitely an episode in the making. And something I had definitely had to do. Y'all probably wondering why, you know, I don't have any brothers to, you know, record or tap in with me on this episode, but that's for another part. I wanted to kind of address this solely, independently, you know, to give you my perspective of brotherhood, being a brother, having brothers, and things like that. Well, so let's get into the definition of brotherhood. Brotherhood means a close bond of friendship, support, and trust between two males, much like the relationship shared by biological brothers. The true meaning of brotherhood is a deep bond of loyalty, trust, of course, support, as I said, that goes beyond shared bloodlines, meaning you don't necessarily have to be related to have a brotherhood, to have established a brotherhood, right? It means showing up for each other in hard times, telling the truth with love, holding one accountable and part of self. It means showing up for each other in hard times, telling the truth with love and holding one another accountable to be better individuals, which is what every relationship should be about. It's honesty, transparency, understanding, and accountability, and being responsible individuals to hold each other accountable, right? It takes responsibility to be accountable. You know what I mean? You definitely have to establish responsibility within your own self to be able to hold yourself responsible and be accountable for yourself as well as hold others accountable, right? Because if you don't possess accountability, you will never be able to account for anyone else. Or I have an episode on accountability. Go check that on the previous season, season one, episode 20, titled Accountability. Definitely go check that out. So yeah, brotherhood is just as important as sisterhood. But it's a relationship between two males in where they support each other, advocate for each other, love each other, uplift each other, keep each other accountable. And that may not always look so light and bright. You know what I mean? Taking an accountable, taking account, being responsible, being honest with yourself most of all is your responsibility, you know, above all, is very important, right? Because that's what enables trust to be established, being able to be honest, accountable, responsible for who you are, who you say you are, your words, your ways, and your actions, right? Which are the manifestations of who you are, right? Your actions, your words, your ways is what is what makes up your character. You know what I'm saying? And that's how people can um categorize you or you know know who exactly you are. Because actions speak louder, meaning that the way a person moves and the way they act will dictate who they are, what they are, right? And what they mean to you, or what you mean to them, so to speak, right? So a person can say they love you out their mouth verbally, but still their ways and actions can treat you as if they don't love you. You dig what I'm saying? Like, for instance, it'd be a person, you know, your brother telling you he loves you, but he's never really spending any time with you. And no, he doesn't have to be literally in physical, real time in your face all the time. But he's not texting you, he's not calling, shooting an email, you know, what's up, bro? Peace. Just checking in on you. How you doing? Just wanted to, you know, send my love, have a great experience to stand the third, or you know, I was thinking about you, just wanted to make sure you was good. Like we don't have to have an hour or two conversation, we don't have to see each other every day. You know what I'm saying? We don't even have to really speak every day, but some consistency will actually help the connection that will build a better bond. You dig what I'm saying? Within that brotherhood. Because the meaning of a real brotherhood is possessing a deep bond of loyalty and trust. And you're only able to establish loyalty and trust with the person when you honest, transparent, and understanding, right? And honesty, of course, most of all with yourself, trustworthy, meaning you can be trusted, right? You're a stand-up person, and understanding, meaning that, you know, you're not there to judge, regardless of what your brother's going through, did or didn't do. You know, you're there to uplift him and help him learn, if anything, and support him versus drag him down, bring him down, or kick him while he's down, right? Let's get to the real though. Another reality check about brotherhood is that the state of brotherhood right now, I don't think it's too healthy. And of course, there's a balance and polarity to everything. You know what I'm saying? There's healthy, there's unhealthy, there's light, there's dark, there's heavy, there's, you know, light, there's um above and below, right? There's hate, there's love. There's in, there's out. So there is always another side to the coin, like the yin and the yang, right? The dark and the light. The light and the dark, the man and the woman, you know, the sun and the moon. Um, there's dualities, polarities to things. There's one side and then there's the other side, right? So there is a deep dark side to brothers, right? And meaning you either related to this brother, this male individual, or you know, it's like your brother, Brody, whatever you want to call it. You know what I'm saying? We use that word too loosely. It's like words truly do have meaning, but it's like we use them cle as a cliche, so to speak, when there's a new word we can use to describe something. Like bro, like brother, back in like the 70s, 60s, 70s, I felt like really was a sign and a badge of honor and endearment from one brother to another, speaking of brothers, meaning the culture, the original indigenous man, right? Calling another indigenous man a brother, that was a badge of honor. And then it be, you know, and then nowadays to fast forward is bro, all this bro that and bro that, like everybody just use it, but cliche, cliche. That ain't even a word, I don't think, but you know, everyone uses it so loosely without having the proper intention really behind it, and then it advanced from bro to brody, whatever that means. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like Brody, okay. Brody is I I feel like Brody has its own definition. Let's let's go to Brody real quick while I'm speaking on it. Um, because I don't think it means what we use it to mean, all right. Actually, it says the name Brody means ditch or muddy place. Alright. So, no, don't call me your Brody. Alright. I'm not a ditch, neither am I a muddy place. Alright. So that's why it's so important to do your research. That's why it's so important to get to know what etymology is. It's the root word, it's the root meaning to a word, all right. And if we're going to use words properly, we need to know the meaning. So again, don't allow people to call you Brody, brothers, my kings, because it means ditch or muddy place, all right. So, and then it says, What is Brody's and slang? A close male friend, brother, or bro. Nah, I'm good on that. You know what I mean? Because I know what the root meaning is, I know what the real meaning is. I don't live in an illusion, so I don't want to be caught something that doesn't mean what it actually means. And then speaking of my point, like you don't treat me as a brother. You feel me? You call me one, but we don't spend any time, we don't speak, you know, there's really no connection there, but I'm your bro, I'm your brody. Nah, don't call me that. I ain't your brody for sure. You know what I mean? But the state of brotherhood, I feel I don't want to say it's at an all-time low, but in certain aspects it is, especially within the streets, right? Meaning the between the dealers, the hustlers, and the dealers and drug abusers and things like that, the dealers and the community, you know what I'm saying? The brothers that are necessarily not dealing, but in the street, whether they're in gangs, you know what I'm saying, or just a part of the community in general, not really a part of anything Pacific, or there's brothers a part of biker clubs and organizations such as, you know, the the brothers, the men's department within a church and things like that, or a um nonprofit organization. So, you know, brotherhood means something. Brotherhood has a meaning, right? It's a deep bond between two male individuals. You know what I'm saying? And that bond consists of loyalty, trust, and support that be goes beyond shared bloodline. So, regardless of whether we're related or not, we're still gonna establish loyalty, trust, and support for each other, right? And we're gonna show up for each other in hard times, and even when times aren't hard, you know what I mean? That doesn't mean you still can't check in just because you you think, feel, or may even know I'm doing good doesn't mean don't check in. Doesn't mean you know I don't want to vibe. You know what I mean? And I think the biggest part about brotherhood and the definition is holding one another accountable to be better individuals. That's that's the most profound part of the definition of brotherhood. We don't do that, we don't hold each other accountable, and if we hold each other accountable, one of our brothers thinks we're hating. You know what I'm saying? That's the brother that's limited on his thinking and limited in the understanding, limited to the knowledge of himself. He lacks knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of who he is. You know what I'm saying? Because if someone's trying to help you be accountable for yourself, that means they want you to be better for yourself and they see potential in you. That's love, right? That's brotherly love. Your brother trying to support you and uplift you. You know what I'm saying? Being accountable is not gonna always be glitzy, glitzy and glammy and shiny and shit like that. You know what I'm saying? But it will enable you to enhance the life that you live. It'll preserve your life, you feel what I'm saying? And then and you know, it will enhance your life as you know it. You know what I'm saying? Because the better you become, the better your life is that you live, right? The better quality of life you will have. You know, we don't uplift each other. We uplift each other or we keep each other accountable on bullshit. You know what I'm saying? Reing up packs and you know, staying vigilant on a block. And yeah, that's cool and all, but like, what is that actually doing for you? You know what I'm saying? That's not really doing nothing for you. You know what I'm saying? Y'all taking account for being savages, so to speak. You know what I'm saying? Y'all helping each other be better savages. You know what I mean? You helping each other become more lost, become more desensitized because of your trauma. You feel what I'm saying? That you're unaware of that you still possess. You can say you're fine, bro, but I know you're not fine. I can see it in how you move. And most of all, not just your movements, but everything that you do and decisions you make will tell you about a person and how they value themselves or lack thereof. You dig what I'm saying? Like, it depends on how a person moves, what they do, how they spending their time, how they utilize their energy. That'll show you what's important to a person and if a person values themselves. Or if your brother values himself, right? And as a brother, of course, um, I gotta be solid. I gotta keep it 100 with y'all, I gotta keep it a buck with y'all. We aren't conducting ourselves with brotherly love, we're not conducting ourselves with responsibility and accountability as brothers. And as brothers, we have more than one duty than just to be brothers. First, our first major and most responsible and accountable and most important duty is to ourselves first, right? Being who we're supposed to be, becoming who we are, right? And being our our authentic selves 24-7 all of the time, and regardless of what that may look like. And you being authentic doesn't mean you won't make mistakes. Being authentic won't mean you won't be disliked. Most times, part of self, you will be disliked mostly because you are authentic, because you are a solid person, because you are a real person, because you mean what you say, you say what you do, and people can truly see that the way you move is in correspondence to who you say you are. That aligns. So now that's how you know that that, yeah, that's a solid person right there. They're official. You know what I'm saying? It's not just about what a person says or the possessions a person may have, right? Being a solid brother is about being trustworthy, being loyal, being respectful, right? Being supportive of your brother. You know what I'm saying? And not of his drug habit, not of him selling drugs, not of him being a gangster, and you know, being active in a hood committing atrocities, causing casualties, right? That's not going to better our brotherhood or better us brothers as individuals. We need to stick together in more ways than one. All right, there's things that we have common interests in that are positive. We need to start doing those things outside of sports. I know a lot of smart brothers that are into financial literacy, that are into real estate, that are into personal training, right? That are into the sciences, right? That are into health and wellness. Shout out to Styles P. Shout out to Yaquie Awakened. You know what I'm saying? Shout out to um Styles P's juice bar, juices for life, and pharmacy for life. You know what I'm saying? Brothers, we gotta stay up on our health and not just our vitality as far as our sexual tool. You know what I'm saying? And wanting to make sure that's erect and staying right and ready to go. No, our our mental health needs to be priority, our emotional health needs to be a priority. And our spiritual health needs to be a priority, all right? Those three areas will, if aligned, will guide us into making decisions that are aligned with who we're meant to be. Not who we are, but who we're becoming. Alright, we're preparing now for later. Alright, we're doing things in the now for the future. You feel me? Um, so let's get into some key meanings of brotherhood. A family bond, right? The actual state of being brothers or being a brother, having a brother, whether it's one or two, three, or four. Shout out to my brothers. Um wherever you may be at, wherever you may be doing, peace, love, and light upon you, your existence, your cipher, and the cipher. Peace to y'all, and my spiritual brothers, you feel me? My universal brothers, shout out to y'all. Shout out to my uncle, black son. Big shout out to him. Big shout out to Brother Sincere, who I recently interviewed, and that episode is titled Divine Masculine, Season 2, episode 11. Go check that out. Shout out to my day one, Bless. Or would I rather say Bliss? You know what I mean? Radar Rand. Shout out to you, bro. Um shout out to my cousin Carl Me, man. Straight up, we haven't talked in years. But we we semi grew up together. We played ball together in the CYO league on Staten Island. And yeah, we had a great bond coming up. You know, we we played ball a lot. We played Madden 95, 97 together. You know what I'm saying? We went out and, you know what I'm saying? Talked to girls together. We did a lot together, man. Shout out to my cousin Carmen, man. I love you, man. I know what's been a minute. But shout out to you, man. Maino, my guy. Hope you hear this, G. Shout out to my cousin Knowledge, too. I haven't heard from you in a minute, guys. I haven't seen you. Hope everything is peace. Word up. And yeah. Big up to all my brothers that, you know what I'm saying? I've came across connected with whether, you know what I'm saying? We still vibe or we don't. Shout out to you. Peace to you. You know what I'm saying? We've clearly connected and interacted for a reason. Sometimes it's for a season. But peace to you. Or two, deep friendship, a strong feeling of unity, care, and loyalty among two brothers, two males, you know what I'm saying? Or a wider group of people. Right? And like I spoke of, there are brotherhoods within organizations like a biker club, religious groups, you know, the men's department, or, you know, within a church, and things like that, which are clearly joined together for a common purpose. Male mentors, things like that in a professional setting. Right? So there's definitely areas within life where you know brothers are united and coming together to achieve a common goal. And that's what brotherhood should be about uplifting, elevating, supporting each other in any time towards any positive goal, which is to elevate yourself, right? To be a better individual. You know what I mean? But if we're not accountable for ourselves, we're unable to be accountable to others. And in these streets, we're not accountable. In our community, we're not accountable. We're not holding ourselves accountable. We're not eating correctly, right? We're running around here sticking our our sexual tool everywhere. Um we're not respecting women. We're not, you know what I'm saying, holding down our children correctly or the neighborhood. You know what I'm saying? And those are the things that as a brother, first of all, as a man, that we're responsible for. We're responsible for the younger male presence within a community, without saying it doesn't necessarily have to be your child. It takes a village. And brothers within a brotherhood, right, they have responsibilities and accountabilities as brothers within a community. And I just named some of the things that we need to do better with and we need to work on, right? Is being better examples for the youth, right? As men, as brothers, and being better examples to women, for women, for ourselves, for the children, right? For the cipher, for the man, woman, and child. We're a cipher, we're a unit. That's the real true divine trinity: a man, a woman, and the child. A complete cipher. So, brothers, we gotta get it together, man. We can't be beefing and warring over who got more crack, who got more heroin, who got the best dope spot, who got the best sneakers, who got the most jury cause or woman or women. You know what I'm saying? It's about, bro, do you possess knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of yourself, those around you in the universe? Do you know you're in existence or you're just subsiding? Are you actually living life or are you in survival mode? Like, what's up? You know what I'm saying? But in a positive what's up, checking in, like, what's going on? Right? And a lot of us, you know, don't do that. Like, we say we as brothers, we say we love our brothers, you know what I'm saying? Whether it's your actual brother, universal brother, or a cousin, you know what I'm saying? That's a male and this and the third. Like, y'all, you know, we have brotherhoods with every male counterpart, whether it's a friend or a type of a family member, whether it's your brother, your uncle, or your cousin. All right. We don't stick together for shit. Family-wise, you know, us as brothers, whether it's brothers literally or cousins, uncles, and shit, we only see each other at family, uh, at family functions or tragedies. Right? Whether it be a birthday party or funeral, or baby shower, or funeral. You know what I'm saying? And that's the times where we like, oh yeah, we need to da-da-da-da. Day go by, two days go by, we exchange numbers, ain't even nobody talking. Some of us that already have each other's contact and still ain't talking, but want to say out your mouth how we should do this and do that. Knowing you have not one goddamn intentional bone in your body to do anything you said, right? So again, you're not being honest. Right? So if you're not being honest, you can't be supportive. Because if you can't be honest with regular shit, small shit, and in and as an individual, then how can I trust your support? And you being honest with your support. Maybe you just helping me so you know, you can say you helped me, right? Or maybe you're not gonna help me because you think I'm like everybody else that you know wants to come for you and take from you and this, that, and the third. You know what I'm saying? But in real time, some of us as individuals, you know what I'm saying, as men, you know, some of us only really reach out when we really, really need it. Well, we done exhausted all resources and tried to make it happen on our own and cut it. And clearly it was something that important to where we needed help. And a lot of times we don't support each other. When we're quick to support the person that truly don't give a fuck about us, but the people that truly, you know, in in and dearly and and you know what I'm saying, and intentionally love us, you know what I mean? Those are the ones you you overlook. Those are the ones that you know you really don't support. But birds of a feather flock together, right? So that just means we on a different frequency, whether you're, you know, you're my brother or my cousin, you know what I'm saying? Or universal brother, you know what I mean? Either or like that just shows you're not on my frequency. You're on the frequency of someone that's on a lower frequency that you can connect with, you know what I'm saying? Because you're not ready to be accountable for who you are or what you are. So you rather slack, and I'm the type of person to not slack. I'm the type of person that uh, you know, show you and or have you reflecting on who and what you are, and that light expose to yourself who you are, you know what I'm saying? And you may not like it, but it is what it is, and I'm not intentionally doing it, it's just I operate in authenticity. So being in my energy or aura is gonna bring that out, and that's why a lot of people or certain people don't like me and don't even know why. Right? Because my light is so bright, it makes you reflect within, it makes you want to see yourself and see all the parts of you you're refusing to look at. So you'll judge me, you'll say I'm this and say I'm that. Yeah, because I'm living, I'm living out life for sure. Whether I made a mistake or not, I'm still gonna be accountable. I'm still, you know, gonna continue to be who I am. And me making mistakes doesn't mean anything, as long as I'm learning from them, right? And the more I learn from them, the more I continue to be aware of myself, the less mistakes I will make. You feel what I'm saying? And I think people are afraid of that. People are afraid of the people that actually are able to look within themselves, find themselves, and truly operate in their highest authenticity based on who they know they are or think they are or want to become. You feel what I'm saying? Because whatever you set your mind to be or say that you are, you are, or and or you can become. Without a doubt. So, brothers, we gotta do more with uplifting each other instead of trying to stick each other. You know what I'm saying? We gotta support each other instead of trying to backbite each other. And you know what I'm saying? That whole crab in a barrel. Like, as soon as somebody comes up, you want that motherfucker head. Like, really, truly, like, and even especially in the streets, like, you know what I'm saying? And that's where it usually happens. Or a brother come up from the hood, clean up, flip it around, give back to the hood. Now you want his head. Rest in peace, Nipsey, pretty much. You feel what I'm saying? Don't came out the hood, then put his pain in and respectfully try to, you know, build an ad on and rebuild from what he destroyed within a community as a brother. You feel what I'm saying? And look what happened. Feel I'm saying. So it's like we we have to do better. We have to do better. We have to stop being so desensitized, we have to stop endorsing in in white supremacy, pretty much. Right? These high fashions, feel I'm saying, all these drugs, and acting savage, you know what I'm saying? Being savages, you know what I mean? And the greatest savages of all time in our history has been what? The politicians at the highest level, right? In the street level, mobsters, feel I'm saying, or who are in cahoots with the government, which shows you a lot about the government, feel I'm saying, and the government is ran by what? Elite white men. Feel I'm saying, and we endorse white supremacy over our own culture in our own communities by continuing to endorse the Chinese stores on the corner, the Arab stores on the corner. You feel what I'm saying? Yeah, they may be, maybe or seem as though, you know, they're a part of our culture or they're there to support the culture. But in all of reality, they there to get money to support their own family, man. You know what I'm saying? We're quick to support the liquor stores. Again, the high-end fashion that's not circling back to our neighborhoods, right? A person could come up with their own clothing line right next door up the street from you. You won't even support that motherfucker. But you'll pay thousands and hundreds for designer, fake or not. It's crazy to me. I'd rather support the local, whatever's going on. Like, if it's something that I vibe with, yeah, I'm gonna tap in. For sure. But it's like, it seems like we only want to tap in as brothers when it comes to smoking weed, getting drunk, getting with women, going to hang out to show off, or we gain knowledge itself and want to have build battles, or you know, the half awakened that half know who they are, want to tell people who know who they are, how to move, and all of that. Like that's just a bunch of confusion, a bunch of nonsense, man. Period. And one of the worst people to deal with is a person that's half awakened or think they awakened. You know what I'm saying? A person that thinks healing is is done after you heal. Yeah, you healed that one little aspect about something about yourself. Healing is linear, it's no set date to when healing is done. You're continuing to heal as you continue to grow. The more you accept and able to, you know, move around things. Well, not move around things, the more you're able to accept things about you. You know what I'm saying? The more you're able to accept the difficult things is what forces growth, is what produces healing. All right, you have to heal in order to grow. And growth consists of healing, they're interchangeable, right? So you haven't healed all the way, so you're still healing. You've healed some aspects about you. Absolutely, no doubt. So have I. But as far as thinking that you're done and oh I want I'm straight. Now I can uh I feel like a lot of people think that, you know, that once you allegedly healed from something, that you're healed. Oh, you just healed a specific aspect or level to you. That's it. You as a whole, mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, financially, haven't, or minus financially, you haven't a hundred percent healed all of you. You know what I mean? All your lineage for that matter, because healing yourself heals those around you who came before you or who's coming after you. All right. So just be mindful of my brothers. Be mindful of your brothers. Brotherhood is a powerful position and a responsible one. You have a duty to solidarity as a brother. All right. Malcolm X had a couple quotes where he says, you know, spoon feed your brother the truth and the knowledge of things that he doesn't know. Spoon feed him because he's been programmed, traumatized to believe things about himself and his people. So he's not gonna be so willing to accept new knowledge or new information about who he is or his people. So take your time, pretty much. Be patient. He may still, he may want to know, he may be interested in knowing, but you have to, you know, don't be so forthcoming, so aggressive, so forward, right? Spoon feed them, give them a little bit at a time. But at the same time, there are some brothers that are willing, open, and interested in knowing who they truly are, where they came from, right? What's their purpose? Right? There's brothers out here that are eager to gain the knowledge of themselves, all right? And that's a powerful thing. It will totally rearrange your life as you know it. It will bring you closer to your inner world, it will bring you closer to becoming your higher self. And that's what this is about, brothers. All right, that's what my brotherhood is about. That's what me being a brother is about, is to make sure that I hold my brothers accountable for being the best they can be. Right? We always have the picture and always have had the picture painted as if brothers, the original indigenous men, are troublesome, violent, reckless, uncontrollable, unruly, impatient, killers, murderers, drug dealers, deadbeat dads. Some of us are like that. Some of us has grew and grown through that and changed. Some of us never been like that. Right? But the point is, we are the only ones that are able to change that narrative. And people are gonna believe what they want to believe. But when you know in your heart and know truly that as an individual, you're moving with integrity, with honesty, with truth, right, and accountability and loyalty and responsibility, then those type of energies is gonna return to you, right? In the form of a brother, you know, that's from the universe or your real brother. Right? Well, your brother that's a part of the same bloodline, right? Because there's no such thing as saying a real brother, because a universal brother is real if he's operating in brotherhood, right? Being loyal, being trustworthy, being supportive, then that's your brother. Period. No matter his background, creed, belief, feel me, his financial status, that's your brother. So you have to take more time out in honoring our brothers and being an honorable brother, having integrity, right? Doing things behind closed doors as though we were outside, right? Treating our brothers with respect, right? And understanding, knowing we're not always going to agree, we're not always gonna, you know, be on the same page. But there's nothing wrong with being different, right? And being different, I feel like makes a better difference. What if everything was all the same? How fun would that be? Alright. Shout out to Eric Thomas, another good brother I know, fighting for social justice in the Albany community in so many areas. I did get passion, man, and you know, just your diligence and your commitment to the community and to our brothers of the community. It's dearly noted, bro. Grateful for you, man. Or shout out to my young kings, my young gods, man, the young brothers, Nissan Allah, Prince Supreme, and King Allah, peace to y'all, man. Greatest creations. So, my brothers, be mindful, man. How you treating yourself, because that's how you're gonna treat the next person. That's how you gonna treat your brother, how you treat yourself. So don't treat yourself. Truly treat yourself with knowledge, wisdom, understanding, right? Read more, eat better foods, right? Start um start being physically active at least three at least three days out of the experience. You feel me? You know, put yourself in better positions. Your credit fucked up, try to find the least expensive credit plan to repair it, stay diligent, stay disciplined, you know what I'm saying? Don't make frivolous purchases, unnecessarily trying to impress people. You're the only one you need to impress. You validate you. Right? Remember that. You validate you. No one else outside you does that for you. Make sure that you're doing it for yourself because it's very important, and that's proof that you're able to be accountable for yourself, most of all, and then we'll know that in return you're able to be accountable for others or your brother or brothers or up. So let's get into some core qualities of brotherhood, all right. Number one, unconditional support, like I've spoken of and keep speaking of in different forms, all right? Which means being present, not just during easy moments. I said that, but standing firmly beside your brother through failure and hardship. He broke up with the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, somebody he just was truly into, all right? And him and his child's mother is going through it, she bashing him, tearing him down. You know, when, you know, a brother that he did trust turned on him and things like that, whatever he may go be going through. You know what I'm saying? He ends up in the belly of the beast, meaning jail in some form, prison. You know, hold him down if you can while he's in there, and or you know, when he's out, definitely try to. You know, keep him on the most positive path so he doesn't return. Do upon and to your brother what you would want done to you. Simple as that. Measure the same energy upon another brother as you would want that brother to measure upon you. Simple. All right. Number two, true accountability. All right. True accountability, offering honest, sometimes difficult feedback to help each other grow and avoid wrong paths. Again, this one aligns with the first one, right? You have to be unconditionally supportive and possess accountability for yourself first to admit or give true support on being accountable and making your brother accountable, right? Giving him positive feedback on his bullshit, on his negativity, right? Giving him productivity against his unproductivity, right? Enabling him, enabling him to see where his ways, words, and actions aren't positive, where they're not aligning for him to be his best self. All right. Making sure he sees not only what he's saying, but what he's doing is not only affecting himself, most of all, and first of all, it's affecting his brothers as well. All right. So you have to take true accountability. That's number two. Number three, shared respect. Respect is a big deal. They say love of respect. I say respect because it's people that say they love you or could actually love you that don't respect you. Right? They make decisions that don't reflect respect. So yeah, they could probably love you, but they don't respect you. Love is not respect, neither is respect love. So respect me first. I'd rather you respect me first, and then I think once you respect me, you'll grow to love me, right? Out of that respect first. Respect. Valuing your brother's humanity, his character, and dignity, right? Regardless of background or differences. You know what I'm saying? He may like sneakers from Walmart. He may like clothes from Walmart. He may not, he could, he may not be able to afford Nike and Polo and this, that, and the third. Whatever's, you know, the basics below these designers, right? But that doesn't devalue his character, right? You respect who he is as a man and as a brother, regardless of his background, his beliefs, what he wears, you feel what I'm saying, who he likes, you know, anything that may be different from you as his brother. All right. Again, opposites attract. Not just male and female, but you know, you into basketball, I'm into football. All right. I'm into reading, you into writing. All right. Or you're not into writing at all or reading. Right? You're into video editing. No doubt. Operating in authenticity is what creates space for the people that accept you for who you are and are authentic within themselves to come towards you. And then at that same time, you're able to release those that were there for a season, or those that was just there to harbor the energy that you give or emit. You know what I'm saying? Some of our brothers are energy vampires. You got to watch out for them. Those that are not really ever checking on you, but when you have something to give in whatever form, they always around. But when you ain't got shit to give, they ain't never around. Pay attention to those people. Last but not least, number four, consistent action. All right. And being consistent is show is a reflection of respect too, which was number three, right? Because being consistent with a person, or most of all being consistent with yourself, shows that you value yourself. So you have respect for yourself, right? And you're gonna continue to be consistent in the things that you know that are helping you become your best self mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally, right? So you must take consistent action, meaning acting through service and reliability rather than just casual friendship or shared convenience. All right. And that means that you're not only consistent in, you know, your actions speak louder than words. All right, but you're intentional about what you're doing. Right? You're not just doing it to do it, you're not just doing it to say you did it, or for people to see you doing it so they can say you did it. Right? You're not doing it for show, for applaud, for recognition or admiration. You're doing it because this is genuinely who you are as a brother, right? You're operating in brotherhood, loyal, right? Uplifting, trustworthy, supportive, no matter what. The great times, the not so great times, right? Times of misery, times of pain, and times of confusion, right, and times of sadness, even in times of course, and happiness. No matter what you're going through, this brother is committed to being there for you mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. In any aspect you possibly may need him within respects, right? We need more brotherly love. We need more solidarity within our brotherhood. All right, we shouldn't be running around terrorizing our neighborhoods, terrorizing the community, the community members, right? We should be trying to heal our community by healing ourselves first, right? By as brothers, creating a brotherhood within ourselves, being a brother to ourselves as men. So now we have the capacity and availability and space to be a brother for someone in the external world, right? So it's the law correspondence with everything, as within, so without. So if I possess brotherhood of my cipher, of myself, of my being, right? Being trustworthy, loyal, and supportive of who I am as a man, I will in return have the ability to have the same energy given to another brother, right? And to treat him as a brother and to conduct myself as a brother, right? Within brotherhood. And it's not easy, you know. Men deal with, I feel like, a high level of negative ego when we're unaware of who we are, when we're unaware of who people are, when we're unaware of the universe as a whole, which is why it's so important to do the knowledge to all three, yourself first, do the knowledge to those around you, do the knowledge to the universe, right? And you'll truly understand how these things, how things operate, how beings operate, how the universe operates. Right. And once you're aware, you're capable of making wise decisions with the knowledge you possess now. Right. Now it's not so hard to realize why your brother feels dismissed, why he feels unappreciated, right? While he feels he ain't shit, why he feels he will never accomplish anything. Because that's what the world is telling him. That's what the world's telling us. That's what his limited thinking is telling himself. That's what the women in his life are telling him because they have dealt with men that, you know, um mentally abused them or degraded them, right? So they're only giving what they still possess. They haven't healed yet, so they can't give healing. So they can't heal you because they haven't healed themselves. All right. So you have to make a decision and say, am I gonna be accountable for my elevation, or am I gonna allow someone else to dictate when I elevate, how I elevate, right? Am I gonna take account for my elevation and being who I'm supposed to be, or am I gonna continue to give someone else the ability to dictate who I'm going to be? The choice is yours, and it always has been and always will be, but you have to be aware and know that you are in power and the most important person in power over your life. All right, it's your decision. You're the master of your fate, you're the god of your universe. You create things through your thoughts and emotions, plus action. So, what do you want to be? Who do you want to be? What do you want to be known for? What do you want to be known as? Before you leave this earth and this physical essence, who do you want to be known as? Right? What stories will people tell about you? And will those stories inspire people or other brothers to be the best that they can be, or will it influence them to do what the program wants you to do, which is to degrade yourself? Right? To be less than who you truly are, to terrorize, to be a killer, to be a murderer, to be a drug dealer, or is it to be a high-valued man, community member, mentor, teacher, leader, professor, father, husband, right, son. Being a brother is responsible, and it takes responsibility to be a brother, to be loyal, to possess a positive character, to be your best self in difficult times, and to strive to know more of who you are in times where being someone else is praised, a time where being like everyone else is at an all-time high. In these times of ignorance being bliss, and the first thing that people choose to do or be is ignorant. Ignorance is praised over knowledge, foolishness is honored over structure, and knowing and clarity, and most of all peace. So to bring peace and harmony amongst you and your brothers, you must be accountable for knowing yourself and being aware of yourself in every form or fashion, in every aspect, on every level, and that's my body, spirit, and emotions. Which we do have, and as men and brothers, we have to realize yes, we should have compassion for our brothers, not just women. We shouldn't find a safe space only in women. We should be able to find a safe space in our brothers and other men, whether it's our father, our uncle, our brothers, our universal brothers, our cousins, right? In the elders, whoever, any male, we should be able to find a safe space as a male and other males, in other men. That's how you heal. That's a part of healing. Alright? And if you're if and if you're able to provide a safe space for yourself, you're equipped to provide a safe space for your brother. Alright? And you may not accept or agree with things that your brother says or does. But that doesn't mean you count him out. You judge him, you belittle him or kick him while he's down. Try to be as supportive as you can. Right? And be to him as you will want any other brother to be to you. Right? And provide you with brotherhood that consists of unconditional support, true accountability, shared respect, and consistent action and being a brother. Shout out to my brothers, man.
